A peaceful protest · An eight-step repair

The fix for capitalism starts with a pause.

This is not a call to tear capitalism down. It is a plan to save it. On the 8th, 18th, and 28th we shop local, about ten percent of the month. Then we replace a broken tax code with checks that reward raising the floor.

A peaceful protest to show we are ready for change

We stand together, peacefully, and do not spend any money at corporate-owned businesses on days that end in an 8. On the 8th, 18th, and 28th each month, make a conscious effort to shop local and support small business instead of the monopolies.

~10% Three pause days a month is roughly a tenth of consumer activity, if we stay consistent.

I am not a politician. I am not an academic economist. I am a problem-solver who spent two decades on this question after years of executive-level escalations at Sprint and T-Mobile. In 2022 I launched Pause for the Cause. This is the solution.
